What is INVENT?
INVENT (also written INV.ENT, iitbinvent, and iitb_invent) is the annual Innovation and Entrepreneurship gathering of the Desai Sethi School of Entrepreneurship (DSSE) at IIT Bombay. It is held on 31 January as DSSE Day at the DSSE Building, Powai, Mumbai.

What INVENT is for
INVENT exists so ideas do not stay in labs. Students, faculty, founders, investors, and operators share one campus day — speaker sessions, poster presentations, venture pitches — then stay connected through profiles, the attendee directory, and the startup directory for the rest of the year. Editions stack; the day is the spark and the platform is the continuity.
Who it is for
Student and faculty founders. Researchers working on lab-to-market. Alumni who mentor. Investors and operators who open doors. Anyone building something India needs, and willing to meet the people doing the same on the IIT Bombay campus.
